The basis for valuation of shares is the determination of their value as a financial instrument that can bring profit to its owner. Price (quotes) of shares shall be determined only by the correspondence of supply and demand on the open market of securities. The methods of making profit are dividends and growth of value of shares associated with better financial performance of the company, expansion of its business and increase in value of its assets.

Valuation of participation units is done the same way as valuation of shares.

Process of Valuation of Shares (participation units):

  • Consultation of a qualified appraiser;
  • Study of existing customer’s documents;
  • Definition of purpose of valuation and kind of defined value;
  • Receipt and study of data and documents containing information about significant factors that affect the value of the valuated property;
  • Determination of possible approaches and methods of valuation;
  • Calculation of project cost estimates in accordance with the selected approaches and methods;
  • Composing of report in accordance with the applicable legislation;
  • Obtaining positive opinion/conclusion from the Territorial Federal Property Management Agency in St. Petersburg, or Saint Petersburg City Property Management Committee (if necessary).
